LONG ISLAND FLYRODDERS
The Long Island Flyrodders (LIFR) is a club dedicated to
the sport of fly fishing. LIFR was born in 1981 and
organized as a structured club in 1985 by a handful of
dedicated fly fishermen from Long Island and Queens
Today, the club consists of more than 200 members and
is the leading fly fishing club in the East. Membership is
open to anyone regardless of sex, age, race, religion,
handicap, place of residence, level of expertise or social

Our mission is to foster and promote saltwater fly fishing by providing education and spreading knowledge of the sport and to encourage and assist in activities designed to enhance salt water fly fishing and to further the development of the ideals and principles of conservation of saltwater marine life and fisheries.
ART FLICK CHAPTER OF TROUT UNLIMITED
This Trout Unlimited Chapter, named for author and fly fisherman, Art Flick. The TU mission directs members to achieve a philosophy of personal satisfaction with the outdoors and to direct efforts to protect and conserve fishery resources, especially as applies to trout and salmon.
